Khurda men and KISS (Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences) women won the titles in the State Senior Rugby Championship was organized by Jajpur District Rugby Association, under the aegis of Odisha Rugby Football Association at Dasarathpur High School in Jajpur on Sept 3 and 4. Altogether 22 teams from 13 districts participated in the championship.
Khurda spanked KISS 20-0 in the men’s final, while KISS beat Bhubaneswar 7-5 in women’s summit clash. Former State Sports Director Ashok Mohanty handed over the trophies at the closing function.
